What is the Burn Off Oven?

Burn Off Oven heats parts to 900 deg F and thermally destroys the bonding agents of the coating. Residues left after the burn-off can easily be removed with high pressure washing or sandblasting. This process can remove powder, enamel, paint, grease, oil, varnish, epoxy, rubber and other combustible materials and conventional coatings. Only items that are made of steel or iron can be burned. Aluminium CAN NOT BE BURNED as it can not withstand the high temperature and will lose its strength.

 

Is it environmentally friendly?

Environmentally Safe—There are no chemicals, burn off ovens have environmentally friendly emissions, ovens are fitted with afterburners to meet all current and projected regulations.
